Neighbors. Friends. Supporters.
Not everyone serves on deployments. Not everyone sponsors a mission or represents an organization. Many simply choose to help. They donate, volunteer, share our work, encourage others, and stand beside us when communities are impacted by a disaster. Those Who Show Up recognizes the individuals who help make the mission possible.
Some supporters donate. Some volunteer. Some share posts, collect supplies, purchase items from wish lists, or help behind the scenes. Others simply answer the call when help is needed.
Regardless of how they contribute, they all share
something in common: they choose to show up.
Disaster response is not powered by one person, one team, or one organization. It is powered by people who care enough to get involved.

Many supporters help financially, allowing DeWeather Cares to purchase supplies, support programs, and respond when disasters strike.

From packing supplies and sorting donations to assisting with programs
and special projects, volunteers help turn
support into action.

Every post shared, conversation started, and introduction made helps connect more people to the mission and expands our ability to help others.
When a family receives a CaresKit, when a child receives a Bennett Box or trading cards, when a pet owner receives a Scotty Pack or Trixie Pack, or when a community receives assistance following a disaster, they may never know the names of the people who helped make it possible.
But those supporters are there in every box packed, every mile traveled, every act of item delivered and in every hug.
Showing up takes many forms.

Most acts of support happen quietly.
A donated item. A shared post. A few hours of volunteer time. A small contribution. A word of encouragement.
Individually, these actions may seem small. Together, they help fuel deployments, stock programs, support families, and bring hope to people facing difficult days.
No individual can respond to disasters alone.
Every deployment, every program, and every act of assistance is made possible by a network of people who choose to show up to help in whatever way they can. Some contribute resources. Some contribute time. Some contribute encouragement. Together, they create something far greater than any one person could accomplish alone.
The mission belongs to everyone who shows up.

This page proudly recognizes the individuals who help support the mission through donations, volunteering, encouragement, advocacy, and countless acts of kindness.
Because showing up matters.
You don't need special training, a title, or a particular skill set to make a difference. You simply need a willingness to help.
Whether you give, volunteer, share our mission, or support a program,
your involvement helps communities, families, children, pets, and
responders when they need it most.
